Snapshots | Silvery Statements + Summer Glam Beauty
Taking a page out of #GIRLBOSS, last week Andrea + I reshot some of the pieces she’s selling in her Etsy Shop to give them a new look for the site. We enlisted MUA Ninja Walker with NV Cosmetics for a little Summer Glam Beauty, + Andrea “refreshed” her ruffled body con dress by pairing it with silver heels + a gorgeous statement necklace she picked up at Walmart for like $10!
Many of the…
#thenewBR | Trend Spin with Nikki R.
When we first received the Look Book for Banana Republic’s current collection, I was ecstatic to get the new product in-store. Although it wasn’t a huge departure from seasons past, Marissa Webb’s influence as the new Creative Director was most def on display (her new stuff will be in for Spring). All of the classic pieces are still there, but they’ve been injected with a little modernity. More…

So you styled the perfect look, edited your photos to perfection, linked all of your product details, and added some fabulous copy to your OOTD post. Before you upload those photos to your blog,RENAME ALL OF YOUR PHOTOS.
I’ve mentioned it before, but I think it’s worth sharing again, renaming your images before you upload them to your blog is one of the easiest, and probably most important thing…

It contains vitamin A and ACTIVE NATURALS® Total Soy Complex,…
Decor File | Cute Knobs Under $20
When you’re not blessed with a huge home decor budget, you have to find easy refresh ideas to help spruce up your home. If you have a dresser that you want to change, think about giving it a quick sanding and paint job, and then switch out all of the hardware for ones that are a little more fun and modern.
I came across these knobs for Anthropologie that are all under $20:
They have a ton to…
Beauty Buy | COVERGIRL Ready, Set Gorgeous Foundation + Concealer
COVERGIRL recently launched Ready, Set Gorgeous, a new collection of oil free foundations, concealers, and powders with a build in powder system that prevents shine and mattifies skin by pulling oil away from the skin instead of trapping it under your makeup. I’ve been testing it for a few weeks and I absolutely love it!
Although the color range isn’t vast (the foundation comes in 12 shades,…
Although some take the trend a little too far at times (skip the full-body catsuit, please), leopard print is one that has been around for years and at this point, has upgraded from just being the occasional accent to a full on classic in my book. Leopard print is one of my go-to recommendations whenever some asks me for the easiest way to give their wardrobe a little refresh. In fact, I advise people to use the versatile pattern as the neutral (aka the foundation piece) and build their look around it to give themselves more options.
It works well with so many color palettes, so depending on what look you’re going for, a quick tip to remember no matter your personal style:
Pair with black, white, cream, heather gray, and caramel.
Jewel tones, oxblood, and classic red keep the focus on the print.
Mix with small floral prints, stripes, and pops of neon or pastels.
I keep a pair of leopard flats and heels year round, but a girl needs more options. A few more possibilities:
How do you incorporate leopard into your wardrobe?Leopard Print | The New Neutral Although some take the trend a little too far at times (skip the full-body catsuit, please), leopard print is one that has been around for years and at this point, has upgraded from just being the occasional accent to a full on classic in my book.
Photo Recap | Brunch + Sew Memphis with Andrea Fenise
A few weeks ago, my friend Andrea Fenise held her first Brunch + Sew Workshop, a fun spin on traditional sewing classes. She and Ava Loren Design owner Kamesha Richard facilitated an easy, informative lesson, which included art icebreakers, a light yummy brunch from Ladyfingers Catering Company, LLC, and resulted in some cute home interior pillows for everyone to take home.
Andrea hired me to…

New Services | Style Blogger Sessions
I’m gonna let you guys in on a little secret: most style bloggers don’t shoot their outfit posts the day of any more. They do batch sessions anywhere from 1-2 weeks prior to their posts going live. Why? To be quite honest, they don’t have the time. Trying to balance work, a blog, and a personal life is hard, so once your site starts building traction, it’s difficult to find the time to take…
